  • Expected Pay Range: $22.00 - $24.63
  • Bonus: This role may further qualify for supplemental compensation in the form of bonus and incentive programs, contingent upon achieving pre-established individual and company performance metrics.

What You’ll Do

  • Support food production operations by preparing, setting up, operating, and tending equipment across multiple processing areas including drying, freezing, grinding, sifting, and packaging.
  • Work independently and alongside operators and production team members to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production runs.
  • Train and support new team members, reinforce standard operating procedures, and communicate updates on process changes.
  • Perform equipment start-ups, minor adjustments, disassembly, assembly, and extensive cleaning and sanitation activities.
  • Conduct quality checks, CCP verifications, and complete required documentation while identifying and escalating safety or quality concerns.
  • Lead pre-shift meetings and safety stretches and support continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

What You’ll Bring

  • At least one year of production experience or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
  • Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and take ownership of production demands and schedules.
  • Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills, with the ability to complete documentation and use scanners or ERP systems as required.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented approach.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet production goals.
  • Forklift experience or certification preferred, with training provided as needed.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • Regular standing, walking, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, bending, stooping, kneeling, and pushing or pulling equipment.
  • Routine lifting or handling of boxes, bags, or equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Required use of personal protective equipment, including respirators, hearing protection, eye protection, and head protection.
  • Ability to work in dusty, cold, hot, humid, wet, loud, or outdoor environments depending on the assigned area.
  • Primarily production-based work with minimal administrative duties, and the ability to meet all physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation.
