Sr. Planning Engineer

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering.

2. 8- 10 years of experience with background on high rise projects.

3. ⁠Attention to details.

4. ⁠Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

5. ⁠Expert in Primavera

6. ⁠Working knowledge of MS office .

7. Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities.

Responsibility:

• Develop detailed project plans, outlining the tasks, timelines, and resources needed.
• Create schedules for the project’s phases, from the initial design to final delivery.
• Use software like Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools to manage timelines.
• Identify and allocate the necessary resources (human, equipment, materials) to various tasks within the project.
• Ensure efficient utilization of resources to avoid delays or cost overruns.
• Monitor project costs and help identify areas to reduce expenses or optimize resource usage.
• Assist in budget preparation and provide regular cost forecasts.
• Identify potential risks to the project’s timeline or budget.
• Propose mitigation strategies to minimize or eliminate these risks.
• Develop and manage project timelines to ensure on-time completion.
• Track progress and update schedules regularly.
• Handle delays or issues and adjust the project timeline when needed.
• Act as a liaison between project managers, contractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure all parties are kept updated with current project status and any changes to the plan.
• Hold regular meetings to ensure alignment among all team members.
• Prepare regular status reports, progress updates, and other necessary documentation.
• Keep track of changes to the plan and maintain proper documentation for audits or future reference.
• Ensure the project complies with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Help make sure that all planning activities align with industry standards and organizational goals.
• Address any unexpected issues or changes that arise during the project.
• Work with teams to find solutions to challenges that could impact progress.
• Analyze past projects for lessons learned and suggest improvements in future planning and processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month
