Sr Procurement Engineer

Job Summary:

The Procurement Engineer will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the procurement process within the HVAC/MEP Contracting industry in Dubai. This position requires expertise in sourcing, negotiating, and securing materials and services to meet project requirements while ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with project managers to understand material needs, delivery schedules, and budget constraints.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials while maintaining cost controls and quality standards.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and stay informed about industry trends.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Monitor and assess supplier performance, addressing issues promptly to ensure compliance.
• Work closely with the project team to resolve procurement-related challenges.
• Stay updated on relevant industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance in procurement activities.
• Manage and update procurement databases and documentation.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 6-8 years of proven experience as a Procurement Engineer.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Previous experience in the HVAC/MEP Contracting industry in the UAE.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
