Sr. Procurement Engineer

Role Overview:

MD Design & Fit-Out Services is seeking a highly organized and commercially aware Procurement Engineer with proven experience in the UAE interior fit-out sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring the timely sourcing of materials and subcontractors while maintaining cost efficiency, quality standards, and project timelines.

This role requires a proactive professional with strong market knowledge and supplier networks within Dubai’s fit-out industry.

Key Responsibilities:Procurement & Sourcing:

• Manage the full procurement cycle for interior fit-out projects
• Source and evaluate suppliers, materials, and subcontractors within the UAE market
• Obtain, review, and negotiate quotations to achieve cost-effective solutions
• Ensure all materials comply with project specifications and quality standards

Vendor & Subcontractor Management:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
• Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, pricing, and delivery timelines
• Maintain an up-to-date supplier database and pricing records
• Identify alternative suppliers to ensure continuity and competitiveness

Procurement Operations:

• Prepare and issue Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) in line with project requirements
• Track orders, deliveries, and logistics to ensure timely supply to site
• Coordinate closely with project managers, designers, and site teams
• Resolve supply chain issues and mitigate procurement risks

Cost Control & Compliance:

• Monitor procurement budgets and ensure cost efficiency
• Support cost comparison and value engineering initiatives
• Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE regulations
• Maintain accurate documentation and procurement reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 2–3 years of UAE experience in interior fit-out procurement (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of Dubai market suppliers, materials, and pricing
• Proven negotiation and vendor management skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and procurement systems
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
