Sr. Product Designer -(AI)

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Product Designer specializing in Artificial Intelligence (AI) to join our dynamic team. This role involves leading the design of cutting-edge AI-driven products, ensuring seamless user experiences across web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in UX/UI design, product development, and front-end technologies, with a passion for creating intuitive and impactful digital solutions within an Agile environment. As a key contributor, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into compelling visual and interaction designs that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.

Duties

• Lead the end-to-end design process for AI-powered products, including user research, requirements gathering, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
• Develop detailed user flows, information architecture, and layout designs that optimize user experience across web and mobile platforms.
• Create high-fidelity visual designs utilizing tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite, ensuring adherence to brand standards and accessibility guidelines.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, data scientists, and stakeholders to define product features aligned with business goals and technical feasibility.
• Design responsive interfaces that function seamlessly across various devices including desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
• Conduct A/B testing and analyze user data using tools like Google Analytics 360 and Omniture to inform iterative design improvements.
• Develop prototypes for usability testing using InVision, Zeplin, or similar tools; facilitate user acceptance testing to validate design solutions.
• Stay current with industry trends in UX/UI design, AI integration, and emerging technologies such as React, Angular, AWS, RESTful APIs, and motion graphics to continuously enhance product quality.
• Advocate for best practices in web accessibility, web design standards (HTML/CSS/JavaScript), and data visualization techniques to improve overall usability.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Designer or UX/UI Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing AI-related projects or complex digital products.
• Proficiency in front-end development tools including HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular; experience with React Express is a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of UX principles including interaction design, information architecture, wireframing (Balsamiq, Axure), layout design, and responsive web design.
• Skilled in digital design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator; familiarity with motion graphics (Adobe After Effects) is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of SDLC processes within Agile environments; experience working with Jira or similar project management tools.
• Ability to conduct user research and analysis skills using Qualtrics or similar platforms; expertise in data analysis using SQL or Google Analytics.
• Experience designing for mobile applications and devices; knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Familiarity with APIs (RESTful API), AWS cloud services, WordPress or Drupal CMS platforms is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science or related field preferred; relevant certifications are a plus. Pay: $217,494.23 - $239,455.41 per year
