Role Summary

The Product Sr. Specialist – Growth will drive Smartliner’s North American product strategy across automotive and home categories. This role owns the full product lifecycle (from concept through launch), balancing technical product development with commercial execution. Success means increasing market share against major competitors while expanding presence in both direct-to-consumer and business-to-business channels.

Key Responsibilities

Market & Competitive Strategy

  • Benchmark against WeatherTech & Husky; identify gaps & opportunities.
  • Translate consumer & B2B insights into product positioning and pricing.

Product Development (Technical Ownership)

  • Guide design/R&D to deliver durable, innovative products.
  • Oversee specifications, testing, and lifecycle management.
  • Convert customer/partner feedback into requirements.

B2C Growth Execution

  • Optimize e-commerce performance: PDPs, SEO, reviews, campaigns.
  • Support launches with marketing activations and influencer/UGC programs.
  • Track KPIs such as conversion, ACOS, CLV, and customer satisfaction.

B2B Expansion & Channel Development

  • Build distributor & retail partnerships across auto aftermarket and home categories.
  • Provide sales enablement tools (catalogs, training decks, demos).
  • Support fleet/OEM clients with ROI cases and product customization.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Align engineering, sales, marketing, and operations.
  • Coordinate supply chain planning, pricing, and promotions.
  • Lead go-to-market readiness for major launches.

Performance Monitoring & Optimization

  • Define KPIs for B2C and B2B growth.
  • Use GA4, CRM, and analytics tools to monitor adoption and profitability.
  • Report regularly to leadership with actionable insights.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in Product Management, Marketing, or E-Commerce (automotive aftermarket or consumer goods preferred).
  • Success managing both B2C and B2B channel growth.
  • Strong technical understanding of product design, fitment, and manufacturing.
  • Skilled in data-driven decision making (GA4, BI dashboards, Excel, CRM).
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, or lift up to 25 pounds (e.g., product samples, packaging).
  • Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time for trade shows, distributor meetings, or site visits.
  • Clear vision (close and distance) to review digital content, prototypes, and packaging samples.

Work Environment

  • Onsite work model (office in Apopka, FL).
  • Standard office setting with regular use of computers, phones, and presentation tools.
  • Occasional exposure to warehouse/manufacturing environments when reviewing samples or working with operations.
  • Fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture requiring adaptability and cross-team collaboration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
