- Same as PM but handles large and complex projects and/or multiple projects at one time.

Typical Duties & Responsibilities
- In a supervisor capacity, plans, develops, coordinates and directs a number of large and important projects or a project of major scope and importance, or a number of small projects with many complex features.
- Plans, schedules, conducts and coordinates assigned engineering work, as well as monitors work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and standards.
- Responsible for developing and preparing project proposals and LOEs.
- Responsible working with accounting department for project billing, preparing and sending invoices.
- Responsible for collections including identifying client billing concerns and escalating them to supervisor/manager.
- Responsible for creating and communicating all project forecast, schedules, costs estimates, and financial reports with key project stakeholders.
- Responsible for assigning project tasks to Team members that align with key milestones identified in the project schedule.
- Coordinates with external stakeholders and subcontractors to ensure project schedules are met.
- Responsible for ensuring QA/QC processes are implemented on all projects under PM purview.
- Maintains accurate project records, including meeting notes, reports and correspondence.
- Conflict resolution with project stakeholders and reports potential client conflicts to the client manager

- Directs several subordinates, some of whom are in positions comparable to Project Manager and Assistant Project Managers.
- Supervises, coordinates and reviews the work of a production staff of professionals and/or technicians.
