Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers and vendors for goods and services.
- Handle end-to-end purchase cycle: requisition, quotation, negotiation, purchase order, follow-up, and delivery.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships and evaluate their performance periodically.
- Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, consumables, machinery, or other operational requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Production, Accounts, Logistics, etc.) to understand purchase needs.
- Maintain purchase records, price databases, and supplier agreements for audit and reference.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders accordingly to avoid stockouts.
- Stay updated with market trends, pricing fluctuations, and new vendors.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and statutory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in purchase/procurement (manufacturing/engineering/retail industry preferred).
- Proven track record in vendor development and cost-saving initiatives.
