- Assist with implementing procurement processes that support field operations and project schedules.
- Help purchase concrete materials such as ready-mix, cement, aggregate, admixtures, rebar, mesh, formwork, accessories, and construction tools.
- Support supplier and vendor communication, including requesting quotes and gathering pricing and lead time information.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and basic subcontract documents, ensuring accuracy in quantities and specifications.
- Monitor material needs by coordinating with site superintendents and project managers under the guidance of senior purchasing staff.
- Maintain supplier records and help track vendor performance (cost, quality, reliability).
- Work with accounting to provide supporting documents and assist in resolving simple invoice or delivery discrepancies.
- Help track procurement data such as order status, delivery updates, and cost comparisons.
- Assist estimating and project teams by collecting current material pricing and supplier quotes.
- Follow safety, environmental, and quality standards in all purchasing-related activities.
- Stay informed about basic industry trends and material pricing changes.

- 6+ years of purchasing or procurement experience; construction or concrete industry exposure a plus
- General understanding of construction materials or willingness to learn (rebar, forms, cement, etc.)
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with construction software platforms (Procore, Sage, Viewpoint, etc.) is helpful but not required
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, and support team deadlines
