Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Python Developer to join our growing team at ChicMic Studios. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Django, Django Rest Framework (DRF), AWS, and SQL with strong knowledge of backend security, performance optimization, and scalable architectures. Experience in payment gateway integration, microservices, and real-time systems will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and scale web applications using Django & DRF.
• Implement and manage payment gateway integrations and ensure secure transaction handling.
• Design and optimize SQL queries, transaction management, and data integrity.
• Work with Redis and Celery for caching, task queues, and background job processing.
• Develop and deploy applications on AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation).
• Implement strong security practices including CSRF token generation, SQL injection prevention, JWT authentication, and other security mechanisms.
• Build and maintain microservices architectures with scalability and modularity in mind.
• Develop WebSocket-based solutions including real-time chat rooms and notifications.
• Ensure robust application testing with unit testing and test automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Monitor, debug, and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience as a Python Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Django, and DRF.
• Experience with payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, etc.).
• Expertise in SQL queries, database optimization, and transaction management.
• Hands-on experience with Redis, Celery, and distributed task management.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services for application deployment and management.
• Solid understanding of application security (CSRF, SQL Injection prevention, JWT, encryption).
• Experience building microservices and working with APIs.
• Exposure to WebSockets and real-time communication systems.
• Proficiency in unit testing and writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Familiarity with front-end basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,300,000.00 per year
