Sr QA Automation
Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer

Experience: 5 - 8 years
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Build, enhance, and maintain automation test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing using industry-standard frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright)
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipeline test automation for faster, reliable releases.
- Perform security testing including vulnerability assessment, penetration testing (basic), and reporting of security gaps in applications.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high-quality deliverables.
- Identify, log, and track defects to closure using tools like Jira, TestRail
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test plans, test strategies, and RTM (Requirements Traceability Matrix).
- Stay updated with emerging testing tools, techniques, and security best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in software testing, covering manual, automation, and security testing.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright)
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python
- Experience in API testing with tools like Postman
- Knowledge of security testing tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, or similar).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
