Sr. Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for a Sr. Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in construction or engineering projects. The candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, budget management, contract administration, and ensuring project costs align with financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation of BOQs, cost estimates, and budgets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with financial objectives.
• Lead the preparation of tender documents, evaluation of bids, and negotiation of contracts.
• Manage project expenditures, variations, and change orders to maintain budgetary control.
• Supervise contract execution, prepare, and review payment applications, and manage claims or disputes.
• Deliver detailed cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and project financial summaries to senior management.
• Provide strategic recommendations to optimize costs while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Mentor junior quantity surveyors and collaborate with project teams, vendors, and clients for smooth execution.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in quantity surveying, with at least 3–5 years in a senior role handling large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in QS software such as AutoCAD, CostX, or Primavera.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of FIDIC and other contractual frameworks.
• RICS, MRICS, or equivalent professional membership.
