Roles and responsibilities
- Plan/schedule the trials.
- Literature search for process/product based on the project.
- Knowledge about the membrane and chromatography technology.
- Making trial data sheet, summary of conducted trial and also preparing the report as per the data generated.
- Preparing the SOP’s and cleaning protocol of the systems in use.
- Manage the facility resources, systems, etc. and follow up from the purchase/stores as per the lab requirement.
- Preparing the dispatch notes for the material/sample movement in/out of the lab.
- Safety activities of the lab.
- System/Instrument calibrations scheduling.
- Scheduling monthly/yearly preventive maintenance activities.
- Stock checking wrt chemicals, glass/plastic wares, etc.
- Maintaining the chemical consumption/ membrane stock/usage data sheet.
- Technical support to the sales team wrt the process trial, discussion with customers.
- Technical support to the design team for skid based system building.
- Giving basic training to the lab assistant
- Literature search for the process/product.
- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of methods, cost and results.
- Participate in trial offer making.
- Promote positive relations with customer.
- Prepare process development costing.
- CAPEX and OPEX calculations of the process trial and making comparison of the same.
- Material balance calculation of the analysis.
- Understanding and the Interpretation of the analysis received from the customer.
- Discussion or brain storming on critical case studies of ongoing projects with the internal teams.
- Properly maintaining all work related documents/record keeping.
- Monitoring the lab cleaning activities.
