POSITION SUMMARY
The Sr. Director of Sales is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for the sales team, overseeing sales initiatives, and ensuring the achievement of occupancy goals and revenue targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement overarching sales strategies that align with the organization's objectives and market conditions across multiple facilities.

Lead, mentor, and support regional community sales directors to ensure they meet or exceed sales targets and adhere to best practices and customer engagement.

Schedule and facilitate tours with prospective residents and families.
-
Manage prospect pipeline and cultivate relationships with prospective residents through outreach efforts including phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication.

Monitor industry trends and adjust strategies Accordingly, to maintain competitive advantage and respond effectively to changes in the market and regulatory environment.

Oversee the creation and execution of effective training programs for the sales staff to enhance their skills, knowledge and selling assisted living services.

Ensure all sales activities comply with legal and ethical standards, maintaining the organization's reputation and avoiding potential liabilities.

Collaborate with other senior management team members to integrate sales efforts with operational, clinical, and financial aspects of the organization.

Manage the sales budget, forecasting needs and allocating resources to maximize efficiency and profitability.

Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with key external partners, referral sources and industry leaders to enhance business opportunities.

Regularly review and refine sales processes and tools to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience:
-
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field, Master’s degree preferred.

Extensive experience in sales or marketing management, ideally more than 10 years with a proven track record of achieving sales targets, preferably within the healthcare or senior living industry.

Extensive leadership experience demonstrating successful management of a sales team.

Experience in developing and implementing strategic sales plans and initiatives that align with organizational goals.

Strong background in customer relationship management, particularly in settings that involve sensitive client interactions, such as with families and elderly clients.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Comprehensive understanding of sales and marketing principles as they apply to the healthcare and senior living sectors.

Deep knowledge of the health care industry, especially trends and challenges in assisted living.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the health care and assisted living industry.

Insight into customer relationship management, best practices and strategies for effective client engagement and retention.

Advanced leadership and management skills to inspire and direct large sales teams and develop mid-level managers.
