Role Overview:

We are looking for a Sales Executive to manage school and institutional sales of our books. The role involves visiting schools, meeting principals/decision-makers, building relationships with distributors and retailers, and ensuring business growth in assigned areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit schools to promote and sell Woodapple books.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with principals, teachers, and decision-makers.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets assigned by management.
  • Handle order generation, follow-up, and ensure timely payment collection.
  • Conduct book presentations, demos, and promotional activities in schools.
  • Coordinate with the logistics and telecalling team to ensure smooth order processing.
  • Prepare daily/weekly reports on sales visits, leads, and closures.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Graduate in any discipline (preferred: Education).
  • 2–3 years of proven experience in sales, preferably in publishing or education sector.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for school visits and client meetings.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven with ability to work independently.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, reporting tools).
