Role Overview
The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration for advanced laboratory equipment, including ULT & Lab freezers and refrigerators, centrifuges, clean air equipment, and ultra-pure water purification systems. This role requires a strong technical understanding of scientific equipment, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to deliver tailored solutions to research institutions, hospitals, universities, and industrial laboratories.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development
- Achieve and exceed sales targets for assigned product lines.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic accounts in the life sciences, healthcare, and industrial sectors.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with clients.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, procurement teams, and end-users.
- Provide consultative support to customers, ensuring product suitability and satisfaction.
- Manage post-sales support in collaboration with service teams.
- Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer needs to provide insights for product positioning.
- Work closely with the National Sales Manager to develop territory-specific strategies.
- Participate in exhibitions, seminars, and promotional events to enhance brand visibility.
- Collaboration & Reporting
- Coordinate with application specialists, service engineers, and distributors to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts in CRM tools.
- Submit timely reports on sales performance, market feedback, and customer requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Biotechnology, or related discipline; MBA preferred.
- 2–3 years of proven sales experience in scientific/laboratory equipment or healthcare technology.
- Strong technical knowledge of laboratory instruments (freezers, centrifuges, clean air systems, water purification etc.).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
