Job Description: SEO Specialist (Media Agency – Dubai)

We are a fast-growing media agency in Dubai specializing in digital marketing, performance campaigns, SEO, social media, and data-driven brand growth. We are looking for a skilled SEO Specialist who can manage on-page, off-page, and technical SEO to improve our clients’ online visibility, rankings, and traffic across various industries in the UAE.

Role Overview

The SEO Specialist will be responsible for developing SEO strategies, conducting keyword research, optimizing website content, auditing technical SEO issues, tracking performance metrics, and ensuring our clients achieve strong organic visibility across Google and AI search platforms.

This role is ideal for someone analytical, detail-oriented, and highly updated with the latest search engine trends, especially within the UAE/GCC market.

Key Responsibilities1. SEO Strategy & Implementation

• Develop and execute SEO strategies tailored to each client’s goals.
• Optimize websites for on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
• Conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitor analysis.
• Improve organic rankings for targeted keywords in high-competition verticals.

2. Technical SEO

• Perform technical audits to identify issues related to speed, indexing, crawlability, site structure, and schema markup.
• Work with developers/designers to implement SEO fixes (Core Web Vitals, redirects, sitemaps, canonical tags, etc.).

3. Content Optimization

• Provide SEO guidelines for blogs, landing pages, product descriptions, and web content.
• Collaborate with content writers to ensure high-quality, keyword-optimized output.
• Implement internal linking strategies for improved crawl depth and relevance.

4. Off-Page SEO

• Build and maintain high-quality backlinks using ethical strategies.
• Manage outreach campaigns and coordinate with bloggers/influencers for link-building.

5. Reporting & Analytics

• Track performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs, and other SEO tools.
• Prepare monthly SEO performance reports with insights and recommendations.
• Monitor ranking fluctuations, algorithm updates, and competitor movements.

6. AI Search Optimization (Emerging Requirement)

• Optimize content for AI-powered search engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini.
• Conduct content relevance audits to improve visibility in AI-generated responses.

RequirementsMust-Have

• Own valid UAE visa (Spouse/Family/Investor/Freelance).
• Note: Company does not provide employment visa.
• 2–4+ years of experience in SEO within a digital agency or in-house marketing team.

• Hands-on experience with:
• Google Search Console
• Google Analytics
• SEMrush or Ahrefs (mandatory)
• Screaming Frog or similar crawlers
• Understanding of content strategy, schema markup, and performance optimization.Nice-to-Have

• Experience ranking websites in UAE/GCC markets.
• Familiarity with Webflow, WordPress, Shopify, or custom CMS.
• Knowledge of social SEO and short-form content optimization.
• Basic HTML/CSS understanding.
• Experience with AI search optimization trends.
