We are seeking a skilled and proactive Shopify Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing all GK Hair Shopify stores across global locations This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about e-commerce and thrives in a fast-paced, global environment.

Development & Optimization

• Develop, customize, and maintain our global Shopify Plus stores, ensuring a consistent yet locally relevant brand experience.
• Build custom features, sections, and apps using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Shopify APIs to meet specific business requirements.
• Continuously optimize site speed, mobile responsiveness, and overall performance to maximize conversion rates and SEO rankings.

Technical Strategy & Integration

• Architect and implement complex third-party integrations (ERPs, CRMs, payment gateways, marketing automation platforms).
• Proactively recommend and implement technical solutions to solve business challenges and capitalize on opportunities.

Cross Functional Collaboration:

• Act as the technical expert, partnering closely with the marketing team on landing pages, promotions, and A/B tests.
• Work with the design team to ensure technical feasibility and pixel-perfect implementation of UI/UX designs.
• Work with supply chain and customer service to streamline backend processes that affect the customer journey.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 3 years of professional experience in Shopify development with a strong portfolio of live stores
• Proficiency in Liquid (Shopify’s templating language), HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive frameworks. Experience with a modern JS framework (React) is a strong plus.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify APIs, custom app development, and third-party integrations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical teams.
• Expert level proficiency in  Shopify Plus and international e-commerce operations.
• Proficiency in version control (Git), Google Analytics, and conversion rate optimization.
• Understanding of SEO, site performance, and user experience principles.
