Corporate

• Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements
• Provide inputs to Human Resources on succession planning, employee career growth, and organizational structure
• Direct the development of KSA national employees across the function to support corporate objectives, Saudization targets and lead the knowledge dissemination culture to ensure optimal building of internal capabilities and maximize their performance
• Manage and conduct the affairs of the function with the highest standards of respect, integrity, accountability, agility, quality, safety and corporate governance
• Ensure compliance with Code of Ethics policy and adopting company values across all function’s employees and provide leadership to reinforce a strong people culture and ethical business practices
• Enhance adoption and utilization of systems and ERP
• Identify and track KPIs for the MEP team and devise plans and initiatives for improvement
• Strive to streamline and refine comprehensive policies, operational business processes systems and procedures

Functional

• Monitor and assign work to Mechanical site engineers in accordance with Company’s policies and procedures and limits of authority.
• Check, monitor, analyze and report the site productivity index to the appropriate management.
• Monitor and control expenses related to project work and ensure organizational forecasts and budgets are met for these expenses.
• Handle Mechanical procurement activities relating to contracts and sub contracts in accordance with Company Procedures and Procurement department activities.
• Undertake Mechanical team briefings and inception activities to ensure all aspects of work are understood by all concerned parties.
• Ensure safety standards and procedures are implemented and followed in accordance with contract requirements and Company guidelines.
• Undertake QC reporting interaction with other departments of Company and clients to assure production schedules and deliveries are met.
• Be responsible and report on the scheduling of man/material movements for all aspects of construction and or maintenance activity.
• Act as a liaison with contractors and clients managing any work interfaces and enhancements to project scope.
• Review and evaluate technical Mechanical submittals and Mechanical shop drawings prior to submission to consultants and clients according to required project standards.
• Assist the Project Manager/Project Director in preparation of Sub Contract agreements and to recruit people in Mechanical discipline.
• Maintain standards of safety and comply with Company’s Health, Safety & Environment Management System requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (minimum requirement).

• 10 - 12 years of MEP Experience in the Middle East, preferably in Saudi Arabia in engineer role in supervising/ managing a team of technical crews
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection).
• Strong communication skills to manage teams of subcontractors
• English (Read , Write Spoken).
• Experience in managing subcontractors and site execution.
• PMP, LEED, or equivalent mechanical system certifications is an advantage.
• Knowledge of mechanical codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA) and local regulations.
