Sr. Software Engineer

We’re Hiring: Senior Software Engineer | Ingame Sports

Ingame Sports is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team and help build high-performance sports technology platforms used by fans and partners across the industry.

In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize scalable and secure software solutions , contribute to system architecture decisions, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring engineering excellence across the full development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend and/or frontend systems
• Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Collaborate closely with Product, UI/UX, QA, and DevOps teams
• Ensure performance optimization, reliability, and security standards
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
• Support CI/CD practices, testing strategies, and technical documentation
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in technologies such as Java, .NET, Node.js, or Python
• Experience with React, Angular, or Vue is a plus
• Solid knowledge of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases
• Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is preferred
• Experience in sports tech, gaming, or high-traffic platforms is a plus
