Job Description

The Senior Sourcer is responsible for driving all aspects of the candidate sourcing and generation process for exempt and non-exempt candidates for ManpowerGroup Talent Solutions’ clients. This involves creating and implementing complex sourcing strategies, utilizing multiple methods and tools for all levels of positions. The Senior Sourcer will support between 2-3 recruiters in specific functional areas and may have interaction with ManpowerGroup Talent Solutions’ clients. This starts out as a 6-month W2 contract, virtual role. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting multiple recruiters, sourcing for a variety of IT, engineering and R&D in the manufacturing industry and have the ability to speak to their strategic sourcing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with multiple recruiters to support active and upcoming requisitions.
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies across various platforms and talent pools.
  • Identify, attract, and engage high‑quality candidates for corporate and professional roles.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor talent, and candidate availability.
  • Build and maintain robust pipelines for hard‑to‑fill and niche roles.
  • Network with candidates and industry professionals to deepen reach and increase visibility.
  • Communicate sourcing progress, challenges, and recommendations to recruiters and stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and candidate tracking within Workday ATS.

Qualifications - External

  • Proven success developing sourcing strategies for a wide variety of IT, engineering and R&D roles within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven success developing sourcing strategies for a wide variety of positions and geographies
  • Broad knowledge and demonstrated success utilizing Internet and Social Media strategies for identifying passive and active candidate pools, to include contact lists, internal and external databases, meet ups/blogs, cold calling, and research.
  • Ability to create competitive and demographic analysis for use in recruiting functions
  • Experience overseeing and executing multiple projects at one time
  • Understanding and experience using and implementing recruiting-related technologies
  • Proficiency with MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Visio
  • Strong analytical, organizational and assessment skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation skills
  • Exceptional internal and external customer service skills
  • Diplomatic and tactful communication style
  • Business and results orientation with a passion for people
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills
