Sr. Technical Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Engineer to lead technical coordination, manage engineering documentation, and support design and site execution for major construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, authority regulations, and best engineering practices.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Coordination

• Lead technical coordination between design, site, and project management teams.
• Review, finalize, and approve shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Analyze IFC drawings, specifications, and tender documents to identify discrepancies and propose solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to project engineers, draftsmen, and site teams.

Documentation & Submittals

• Prepare, review, and manage technical submittals, method statements, ITPs, pre-qualifications, and compliance documents.
• Oversee MTOs, BOQs, material approvals, and technical sections of procurement packages.
• Maintain updated logs for drawings, submittals, RFIs, NCRs, and consultant correspondence.

Site Support

• Provide technical direction to site engineers and supervisors to resolve construction issues.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and authorities.
• Monitor site work to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Support QA/QC activities, inspections, and compliance checks.

Design & Problem Solving

• Review design proposals, value engineering options, and technical solutions for constructability.
• Provide sketches, details, and clarifications when required.
• Assess and propose solutions for clashes, discrepancies, and technical issues.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
• 7–15 years of technical engineering experience in construction or MEP/civil contracting.
• Strong knowledge of technical standards, codes, and authority requirements (DM, DDA, DEWA, DCD, RTA, etc.).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and engineering software (Revit/ BIM is a strong advantage).
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to lead a team and manage multiple tasks under pressure.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
