Sr. Video Editor & Motion Graphics

ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced and creative Video Editor and Motion Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for creating visually compelling videos and motion graphics to enhance brand messaging and engagement. The role involves day-to-day tasks such as video production, video editing, video color grading, motion graphics, and graphics design.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Video Editing:

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging videos for various platforms.
• Ensure seamless transitions, pacing, color grading and storytelling in the final video products.

Motion Graphics:

• Create visually stunning motion graphics to enhance video content.
• Develop animated elements, titles, and visual effects to elevate the overall production quality.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative graphic techniques.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including producers, copywriters, and other designers.
• Provide creative input and contribute to the conceptualization and planning of projects.

Quality Control:

• Review final edits, ensuring they meet brand and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and address any issues or inconsistencies in the video and motion graphic content.

Software:

• Expertise in industry-standard video editing and motion graphic software.
• Expert in Adobe after effects and premiere pro and to be well versed with the Adobe creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Knowledge of AI-powered editing techniques will be added advantage

Project Management:

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.

Continuous Learning:

• Stay informed about the latest advancements in video editing, motion graphics, and design trends.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in film production, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-4 yrs. Agency experience in Video editing & graphic designing.
• Video production, video editing, and video color grading skills.
• Creative Motion graphics and graphics design skills.
• Proven experience as a video editor and motion graphic designer.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of video and motion graphic projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Proactive and accountable to meet deadlines.
