SST Teacher

The Social Worker in a Rehabilitation Center plays a vital role in supporting patients recovering from physical, mental, or substance-related challenges. They work closely with medical professionals, therapists, and families to ensure holistic rehabilitation and reintegration of clients into society.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess the social, emotional, and psychological needs of clients.
• Develop individualized care and rehabilitation plans in collaboration with the treatment team.
• Provide counseling and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Facilitate group therapy, awareness sessions, and motivational programs.
• Assist clients in accessing government schemes, financial aid, or vocational training.
• Maintain case records, progress reports, and documentation as per organizational standards.
• Coordinate with community organizations and referral agencies for follow-up support.
• Conduct home visits when required to assess living conditions and family support systems.
• Promote social reintegration and community participation for recovered clients.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work (BSW/MSW).
• Good communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of counseling techniques and rehabilitation processes.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams (medical, psychological, and vocational).
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
