POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the Controller, this position will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts and enduring compliance within multiple operational locations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Posting daily and monthly journal entries for multiple operational locations.
- Maintaining schedules for multiple operational locations.
- Lead monthly meetings for multiple operational locations.
- Managing tracking reports in multiple markets.
- Posting any overages and shortages and submitting adjustment approvals to leadership.
- Auditing and analyzing supporting financial information and resolve discrepancies where necessary.
- Maintaining positive relationships with our customers including delinquency resolution.
- Leveraging critical thinking skills in performing all work.
- Maintaining professional relationships with our management team, vendors and customers.
- Maintaining electronic customer and vendor accounts.
- Preparing and sending out daily electronic communication.
- Ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Preparing and sending monthly and quarterly statements for multiple operational locations.
- Cross train and support other accounting areas as needed.
- Performing special projects and ad hoc requests as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience required.
- 3 to 5 years of related work experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with intercompany transactions for multiple locations is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and operate under tight deadlines.
- Highly organized.
- Strong attention to detail.
