Staff Accountant

Job Title: Staff Accountant (Onsite – Non-Remote)

About the Role:

We are looking for a high-performing Staff Accountant who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. This is a fully onsite role requiring daily presence in the office, with occasional work at client locations. If you have strong QuickBooks experience, sharp analytical skills, and advanced Excel capabilities, this is a great opportunity to work closely with both internal teams and clients.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts
• Prepare accurate financial statements and supporting schedules
• Perform variance analysis and provide insights to support decision-making
• Work extensively in QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online)
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Assist with audit and tax preparation
• Work onsite with clients to support accounting functions and resolve issues
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency

What You Bring (min. requirements):

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Strong QuickBooks proficiency
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
• Solid understanding of GAAP
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Professional communication skills and client-facing experience
• Willingness to work full-time in-office and travel to client sites as needed

Nice to Have:

• CPA designation or working toward CPA
• Experience in public accounting or client-service environments

Work Environment:

• 100% onsite role (not remote)

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
