Job Summary:
The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities, including cash management, accounts payable, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting. This role will support investment and partnership accounting, intercompany transactions, and cash forecasting while working closely with leadership, external CPAs, and operational partners.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily cash positioning across multiple banks and entities.
- Execute and reconcile wires, ACH transactions, and check runs.
- Maintain bank relationships and assist with account administration activities.
- Build and maintain rolling cash forecasts across multiple entities.
- Monitor liquidity needs, capital deployment, and funding requirements.
- Partner with leadership regarding capital calls, distributions, and intercompany funding activities.
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable processes across all entities.
- Coordinate payment timing and cash management strategies to support operational planning.
- Track capital contributions, distributions, and partnership or joint venture interests across entities.
- Support investor capital activity where applicable.
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes across multiple entities.
- Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, settlements, and eliminations.
- Maintain the chart of accounts and dimensional accounting structure.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements at the entity, consolidated, and segmented reporting levels.
- Maintain accounting records for corporate entities and individual property.
- Coordinate with property managers, asset managers, and external CPAs regarding financial reporting, audit support, and tax workpapers.
- Assist with evaluating, selecting, and implementing accounting systems, ERP platforms, or general ledger software.
- Assist with chart of accounts design, entity structure configuration, data migration, and workflow development during system implementations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company financial policies.
- Prepare reconciliations, supporting schedules, and financial analysis as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased operational efficiency within the accounting function.
- Assist leadership with financial planning, operational reporting, and special projects.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and business information.
- Additional duties may be assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2–4 years of accounting experience.
- Experience with accounts payable, account reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close activities.
- Experience preparing financial reports and supporting financial statement preparation.
- Experience working with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion.

- Experience working in a multi-entity environment.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
