Staff Accountant

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant that is willing and able to cross-train and support the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Departments, and work alongside our dynamic finance and operations team.

In this role, you will be responsible for working alongside the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial statements, as well as offer support in the accounts receivable and accounts payable departments.

Your expertise in accounting software, financial concepts, and compliance standards will be essential to support our organization’s financial health and operational efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where your skills in data entry, reconciliation, and financial analysis will make a significant impact.

Duties

• Prepare monthly support and assist with the close cycle
• Assist with processing and verifying all accounts receivable and accounts payable as needed
• Use accounting software such as Aspire, and QuickBooks
• Perform detailed account reconciliations as needed to verify the accuracy of payments and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain organized records of all transactions, invoices, approvals, and correspondence in compliance with company policies.
• Assist CFO as needed with various projects and tasks

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounts receivable
• Basic understanding of financial concepts including GAAP, bookkeeping
• Proficiency with accounting software QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms.
• Ability to analyze financial data critically and perform account reconciliation efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication with customers, co-workers, and management

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
