Nexterra Solutions Group is seeking a talented Field Staff Appraiser. We are hiring in multiple locations.
Core Responsibilities
Our team of Staff Appraisers represent the in-person extension of our Brand at Nexterra. All Staff Appraisers are expected to hold themselves to a high standard while wearing the Nexterra brand and represent our company in the most professional manner possible. Our Field Staff Appraiser is responsible for not only inspecting customer’s vehicles and completing an estimate, but also securing the vehicle's repair and ensuring that their experience is unlike any other.
The following items serve as a general guideline of the responsibilities of a Nexterra Staff Appraiser. These responsibilities are always evolving as we continue to grow at a rapid rate.
Field Assignments

Desk Estimates and Supplement assignments
Functional Skills
Possess knowledge of Estimatics software (CCC Preferred)
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to operate electronic devices including computers, cameras, and cell phones.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Effective time management skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
Ability to adhere to project deadlines and remain flexible in a changing environment.
Basic math and accounting knowledge
Strong understanding of the auto repair process and the ability to identify appropriate repair methods for vehicle damage.
Knowledge of the insurance procedures and requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
I-CAR certifications preferred, but not required.
Previous experience in a collision repair or service advising position highly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to travel - 50%
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
Must be able to visually inspect vehicle damage in a variety of weather conditions.
Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform inspections.
