Staff Accountant / Accounting Associate

Key Responsibilities:

- Process Accounts Payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

- Execute weekly check runs, including Land and Standard AP check types.

- Provide necessary treasury documentation and support for approvals.

- Perform AFE (Authority for Expenditure) and LOE (Lease Operating Expense) coding as part of expense tracking.

- Conduct queries and generate reports using Excel, including basic functions and pivot tables.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

- Approximately 1 year of Accounts Payable experience, preferably within the oil and gas sector.

- Familiarity with COA (Chart of Accounts) structure, including non-O&G G&A accounts.

- Basic proficiency in Excel (copy/paste, pivot tables, running preset queries).

- Exposure to BOLO software for queries is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
