Burke, Warren, MacKay & Serritella P.C. is seeking a motivated attorney to join our Condominium & Community Associations practice group. This role focuses on representing condominium and homeowners associations in assessment collection cases, other litigation matters, and corporate governance work.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Independently handle eviction court calls, including trials.


  • Manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.


  • Collaborate closely with fellow attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants.


  • Participate in other litigation matters, including bankruptcy, mortgage foreclosure, debt collection, and building code violations (experience a plus).


  • Attend court appearances across various Cook and collar county locations.



Qualifications:


  • Illinois Bar license required.


  • Minimum of 1+ years of courtroom experience preferred.


  • Strong reliability, attention to detail, and organizational skills.


  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.


The position requires frequent communication with firm clients, opposing counsel, and litigants regarding collection matters. This is a hybrid role, with a minimum of three (3) days per week in the office
