About the Role
GGES is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Bookkeeper to maintain clean, accurate financial records and support weekly billing, reconciliation, and reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Reconciliation
- Code all transactions, vendor bills, receipts, and job costs properly.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts weekly.
- Maintain accurate vendor and subcontractor records.
Billing Support
- Work with Service Finance to prepare weekly billing packets.
- Track unbilled jobs, unpaid invoices, and A/R aging.
- Assist CFO in maintaining clean financial data for Monday meetings.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain audit-ready financial records.
- Organize job folders, W9s, COIs, invoices, receipts, and contracts.
- Support compliance for federal and large-client requirements.
Qualifications
- 3+ years bookkeeping experience (QuickBooks Online REQUIRED)
- Experience in construction or job cost accounting preferred
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
- Ability to work consistently 10 hours/week with accuracy and speed
