Staff House Chef / Cook

Job description:

Responsible

for preparing and serving daily meals for staff house occupants. The role includes basic Japanese meal preparation and other common dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This position is intended for meal preparation only and follows an 8-hour work schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Cook basic Japanese dishes and other standard meals as needed.
• Plan simple daily menus based on available ingredients.
• Ensure food quality, cleanliness, and proper food handling at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking area.
• Monitor and report kitchen and food supply requirements.
• Store ingredients properly and minimize food waste.
• Follow company sanitation and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a cook or chef is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Japanese cuisine and ability to cook other meal varieties.
• Can prepare meals efficiently and maintain cleanliness.
• Reliable and able to work independently.
• Willing to work in a staff house environment.
