Designation : Staff Nurse

Department: Nursing
Reports To: Nurse Manager / Head Nurse
Location: Ganapathy , Coimbatore
Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and report changes to physicians and healthcare team.
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments as prescribed.
• Document nursing care, observations, and interventions accurately in patient records.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care and assist with procedures.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Ensure infection control and safety practices are followed at all times.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and code situations.
• Collaborate with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare staff for coordinated patient care.
• Supervise junior nursing staff, aides, or students as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing or GNM).
• License: Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state/national license.
• Experience: [0–2+ years] of clinical experience preferred (varies depending on the setting).

Staff Nurses may be assigned to specialty areas such as:

• ICU / CCU
• Pediatrics
• Medical-Surgical Ward
• Labor and Delivery
• Operating Room (OR)
