- Patient assessment and care: Assess patients' physical and psychological needs, monitor their health conditions, and record vital signs and symptoms.
- Medication administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and monitor patients for any reactions or side effects.
- Care plan management: Work with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, and adjust them as needed.
- Record keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical histories and reports of health status changes.
- Patient and family education: Educate patients and their families on their condition, treatment plans, and how to manage their health at home.
- Emergency response: Provide immediate and advanced care during medical emergencies, such as accidents or cardiac arrest.
- Collaboration and communication:Communicate effectively with physicians, other healthcare team members, and patients' families to ensure coordinated care.
- Equipment and hygiene: Prepare and maintain medical equipment, and ensure a safe, hygienic, and comfortable environment for patients.
- Supervision: Supervise and guide other healthcare staff, such as nursing assistants and students, ensuring they provide optimal care.
