Staff Nurse

• Blood collection
• Patient assessment and preparation:
• Taking patient medical history, including allergies and relevant medical conditions.
• Verifying patient identification and explaining the CT scan procedure in detail.
• Obtaining informed consent for the procedure.
• Checking for NPO (nothing by mouth) status if required for the scan.
• Assessing patient anxiety and providing appropriate support.
• Contrast media administration:
• Administering contrast media as directed by the radiologist, monitoring for potential allergic reactions.
• Explaining the sensation of contrast injection and managing any adverse reactions.
• Patient positioning and scan execution:
• Assisting the CT technologist in positioning the patient on the CT scan table to ensure optimal image quality.
• Communicating with the patient during the scan to maintain stillness and minimize movement artifacts.
• Monitoring patient vitals during the procedure.
• Post-procedure care:
• Monitoring patients for any post-contrast reactions.
• Providing instructions for post-scan care, including hydration and dietary guidelines.
• Communicating scan results to the radiologist and documenting relevant information in the patient's medical record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
