Staff Nurse

Job Title: Staff Nurse –

Qualification:

• GNM / ANM (as applicable)
• Valid Nursing Registration

Experience:

• 2–3 years’ experience in Paediatrics / Neonatal care

Job Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

• Assist doctors during OPD and IPD patient care.
• Monitor antenatal and postnatal patients.
• Provide counselling on breastfeeding, hygiene, and postnatal care.
• Assist during gynaecological procedures and deliveries.
• Maintain patient observation charts and vital signs.

Neonatal Care:

• Provide immediate newborn care after delivery.
• Monitor neonatal vitals, feeding, and weight.
• Support mother in breastfeeding techniques.
• Follow infection control & safety protocols.
• Identify risk signs and report to doctors timely.

Clinical Skills:

• Administer medications and injections as per instructions.
• Maintain nursing documentation and reports.
• Assist in emergency situations and shifting of patients.
• Maintain sterile environment during procedures.

Administrative / Ward Duties:

• Maintain nursing records & inventory of supplies.
• Ensure proper patient handover during shift change.
• Follow hospital protocols and patient privacy standards.

Soft Skills:

• Good communication and compassionate patient care.
• Ability to work in team and handle stressful situations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
