Job Summary

The Staff Nurse provides direct nursing care to residents in an assisted living facility, ensuring safe, compassionate, and high-quality care. This role involves medication management, health monitoring, coordination with healthcare providers, and support of residents’ physical and emotional well-being while promoting independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care

• Perform resident assessments and monitor health status, vital signs, and changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
• Provide wound care, injections, and other nursing interventions as required
• Respond to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions

Care Coordination

• Communicate with physicians, pharmacists, families, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Assist with development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans
• Coordinate resident appointments, treatments, and follow-up care

Documentation & Compliance

• Accurately document assessments, medications, treatments, and incidents
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, facility policies, and nursing standards
• Maintain resident confidentiality and HIPAA compliance

Resident & Family Support

• Educate residents and families on health conditions, medications, and care plans
• Provide emotional support and advocacy for residents
• Promote resident safety, comfort, and quality of life

Supervision & Collaboration

• Supervise and support nursing assistants and care aides as applicable
• Delegate tasks appropriately and provide guidance and training
• Collaborate with administrative and support staff to ensure smooth facility operations

Qualifications

Required

• Current and valid RN or LPN/LVN license (state-specific)
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Current CPR/First Aid certification
• Knowledge of geriatric care and assisted living regulations

Preferred

• 0–2 years of experience in assisted living, long-term care, or geriatrics
• Experience with medication administration systems (eMAR)
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift residents or equipment as needed
• Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations

Work Environment

• Assisted living or residential care setting
• May include day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
