Staff Nurse

Job Summary

The NICU Staff Nurse is responsible for providing specialized nursing care to newborns and premature infants requiring intensive medical attention, ensuring safety, comfort, and continuous monitoring.

The PICU Staff Nurse provides intensive nursing care to critically ill infants and children, ensuring continuous monitoring, treatment, and family support.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill and premature neonates.
• Monitor vital signs, oxygen saturation, intake/output, and neurological status.
• Operate and manage NICU equipment such as ventilators, incubators, CPAP, and monitors.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and nutrition as prescribed by neonatologists.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythm, neurological status, and respiratory function.
• Operate PICU equipment including ventilators, infusion pumps, and monitors.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood products as per doctor’s orders.
• Assist pediatricians during procedures, intubation, and emergency situations.

Required Skills
