Staff Nurse

Job Summary

The Staff Nurse provides direct and individualized nursing care to assigned patients based on the nursing process, standards of nursing practice, and clinical protocols. The role requires coordination with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients as per care plan.

· Maintain accurate patient records and documentation as per hospital policy.

· Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely.

· Adhere to infection control policies and NABH safety standards.

· Participate in audits, quality checks, and continuous quality improvement programs.

· Educate patients and caregivers about disease, treatment, and post-discharge care.

· Ensure informed consent is obtained and documented appropriately.

· Report and document incidents, adverse events, and near misses.

· Participate in ward rounds and interdisciplinary meetings.

· Mentor and guide junior nursing staff and trainees.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
