Staff Nurse

We at Ankura Hospital for Women and Children are looking for Nursing Staff at our Tirupati branch .

Department: Operation Theatre, NICU, PICU, ER and Wards
Reporting To: In-Charge / Nursing Superintendent
Location: Tirupati

Job Summary

The Nurse provides peri-operative nursing care for obstetric, gynecological, neonatal, and pediatric surgical procedures. The role ensures patient safety, aseptic practices, equipment readiness, and adherence to clinical and infection control protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Operative:

• Verify patient identity, consent, and surgical site.
• Prepare OT setup, instruments, and emergency drugs (including pediatric dosages).
• Ensure sterilization compliance and equipment functionality.

Intra-Operative:

• Assist surgeons and anesthetists during procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and perform instrument/sponge counts.
• Monitor patient vitals and report abnormalities.
• Support neonatal resuscitation during C-sections when required.

Post-Operative:

• Assist in safe transfer to recovery/NICU/PICU.
• Provide structured handover.
• Complete documentation and ensure OT cleaning protocols.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Sc. Nursing / GNM
• Valid State Nursing Council Registration
• 1 - 5 years experience (Women & Children setup preferred)
