Staff Nurse

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and record patient symptoms and medical histories
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition
• Operate and monitor medical equipment
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and post-care instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records in electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards
• Collaborate with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals

Required Qualifications

• Diploma, Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (ACLS preferred depending on unit)
• Clinical experience (may vary by specialty or facility)
