Job Description – Staff Nurse

Position Title: Staff Nurse

Department: Nursing Services

Reports To: Nursing Superintendent / Ward In-charge

Employment Type: Full Time

Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care

• Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients.
• Monitor patient condition including vital signs and clinical status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Assist in diagnostic tests and medical procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and infection control protocols.
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and relatives.

Clinical Duties

• Maintain accurate and complete patient records and nursing notes.
• Prepare and maintain medical equipment and instruments.
• Ensure proper documentation of medication administration.
• Follow hospital policies, protocols, and standard treatment guidelines.
• Participate in emergency care and resuscitation procedures.

Eligibility CriteriaEducational Qualification

• B.Sc Nursing / GNM Nursing from recognized institution.
• Valid Nursing Council Registration.

Experience

• Freshers or experienced candidates can apply.
• Experience in hospital clinical setting preferred.

Skills Required

• Strong clinical knowledge and patient care skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle emergency situations.
• Teamwork and coordination ability.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹11,500.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
