Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients’ conditions regularly.
- Administer medications, injections, and IV therapies as prescribed.
- Provide wound care, catheterization, and other nursing procedures.
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Respond to patient needs promptly and with compassion.
- Take and record vital signs (BP, temperature, pulse, respiration).
- Assist doctors during rounds and medical procedures.
- Prepare and maintain patient records and documentation accurately.
- Operate medical equipment safely and effectively.
- Follow infection control and patient safety protocols.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with patients and their families.
- Educate patients about their conditions, medications, and post-treatment care.
- Collaborate with doctors, senior nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Report changes in patient conditions to appropriate medical staff.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update charts.
- Handle admission and discharge processes.
- Ensure stock levels of medicines and medical supplies are adequate.
- Participate in audits, training, and quality assurance programs.
- Provide immediate nursing care in emergency situations.
- Be part of code teams for CPR, trauma, or other critical events.
