Staff Nurse - ER

Job Title: Staff Nurse – Emergency Room (ER)

Job Summary:

The Staff Nurse in the Emergency Room provides immediate, high-quality nursing care to patients presenting with urgent or critical medical conditions. This role involves rapid assessment, stabilization, treatment, and coordination with the emergency team to ensure patient safety and efficient ER operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Triage patients and assess severity of medical conditions promptly.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency treatments as prescribed.
• Assist physicians and emergency staff in procedures and resuscitation efforts.
• Monitor vital signs and patient status continuously during emergencies.
• Maintain accurate patient records, treatment logs, and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and ER protocols.
• Provide patient and family education regarding emergency care and follow-up instructions.
• Respond quickly to critical situations, including cardiac arrest, trauma, and acute medical events.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage patient flow and care effectively.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing preferred).
• Experience in emergency nursing or critical care is preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is highly recommended.
• Strong knowledge of emergency procedures, triage protocols, and patient assessment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and assist patients for extended periods.
• Capable of responding to high-stress, fast-paced emergency situations.

• Teamwork and coordination with doctors, paramedics, and support staff.
• Ability to handle trauma cases and provide urgent care efficiently.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Kadur, Karnataka
