Staff Nurse (ICU)

Job Title: ICU Staff Nurse

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit, ensuring continuous monitoring, timely interventions, and collaboration with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

· Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and conditions.

· Administer medications, IV infusions, and treatments as prescribed.

· Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.

· Operate and maintain life-support and monitoring equipment.

· Assist physicians during procedures and implement care plans.

· Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

· Support and educate patients and families regarding care and recovery.

· Ensure adherence to infection control and safety standards.

· Complete all required documentation for patient transfer or discharge.

Qualifications:

· Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc)

· License: Registered Nurse (RN), valid and current.

· Experience: Prior ICU or critical care experience preferred.

· Certifications: BLS and ACLS preferred

· Skills: Critical thinking, teamwork, communication, and proficiency with ICU equipment.
