Staff Nurse (ICU)

Job Summary

The ICU Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based critical care nursing to patients in the Intensive Care Unit. The role involves continuous patient monitoring, administration of medications, operation of life-support equipment, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU.
• Monitor vital signs and assess patient condition continuously.
• Operate and manage critical care equipment such as:
• Ventilators
• Cardiac monitors
• Infusion pumps
• Defibrillators
• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and injections as prescribed.
• Assist doctors during emergency procedures (intubation, central line insertion, CPR, etc.).
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing assessments and interventions.
• Ensure infection control practices as per hospital protocols.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and participate in Code Blue.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and post-ICU care.
• Follow hospital policies and comply with NABH/JCI standards.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and safety at all times

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
