Staff Nurse (LPN) for supportive living facility

This is a position with responsibility for the health needs of the residents and support of the assisted living care team. This position is responsible for the health needs of the residents and maintaining the well-being of the residents. It includes planning, implementing, recording and problem solving both the medical and social needs of the residents in order to maintain residents at their highest functional level.

1. Overall responsibility for ensuring safe administration of medications and treatments occurs for all residents whether provided by self or by QMA

2. Work with other departments to educate and inform nursing activities of residents to ensure quality of overall care of residents

3. Admit new residents.

4. Make frequent rounds to verify that appropriate nursing care is provided and note any changes in a resident’s condition and intervene as needed to assist with any problems or issues observed

5. Assist Physicians in clinic by ensuring resident’s medical chart is available for their review

6. Maintain the self-respect, personal dignity and physical safety of each resident and encourage & assist each resident to attain their highest level of functionality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
