Staff Nurse - OBGYN Ward

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our Obstetrics & Gynecology (OBGYN) Ward. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to women throughout all stages of pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postnatal recovery, as well as gynecological patients undergoing treatment or surgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to antenatal, postnatal, and gynecological patients.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and report abnormalities promptly.
• Administer medications, IV infusions, and perform clinical procedures as per physician orders.
• Educate patients and families on health management and newborn care.
• Assist physicians during examinations, treatments, and minor procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with documentation standards.
• Ensure adherence to infection control, patient safety, and quality standards.
• Support patient comfort, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Valid nursing license.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in OBGYN or maternity settings.
• BLS/ACLS.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
