Staff Nurse - Transplant Unit

Education:

Diploma in General Nursing / BSCN / Post RN BScN / Diploma in Midwifery

Experience:

03 to 04 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to transplant patients (liver & Kidney) during the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs, fluid balance, and organ function closely, and promptly report as per protocol.
• Administer prescribed medications, intravenous fluids, immunosuppressants, and pain management according to established protocols.
• Assist with discharge planning and facilitate post-transplant outpatient follow-up.
• Implement strict infection control measures to minimize risks for immunocompromised patients.
• Prepare patients for transplant surgeries, ensuring that all necessary documentation and consent forms are complete.
• Early detection & intervention to prevent problems.
